In the December edition of Parbode Magazine appeared Fausia S. Abdul and team members Fariel Soeleiman and Rashid Dossett.
Parbode is a critical Surinam opinion and newsmagazine that critically highlights current issues, politics, culture, and society. The monthly magazine offers in-depth analyses, interviews, and opinion pieces, aimed at a broad audience interested in developments within Suriname and the diaspora.
Rashid:''There is a knowledge gap about Caribbean history and community. This project closes that knowledge gap.'' To that is added: "Everything I do is ultimately aimed at the construction of that country and the development of the artistic industry in Suriname." Fausia: "My goal is to celebrate the diversity of our Caribbean ancestors."
We are proud of Our Heritage! Previously, we appeared in the Antilian Daily, which is dominant in the Caribbean islands. Since a large part of our research also concerns ancestry of Suriname, we are delighted with this recognition.
